Textural Trees

 

An Artist: A person who uses imagination and skill to communicate ideas in a visual form.

Art I and Art II
Art I students will learn the six elements of art- Line, Color, Shape, Size/Form, Space, and Texture. 
Art II students will focus on the Principles of design; Space, Balance, Variety, Repetition, Pattern, and Harmony.
Each student will create a portfolio and a number of works of art using a variety of different medias. 

Photography
In Photography, students will learn how to use a SLR Camera, develop film, and process negatives to photographic prints. Students will also complete a few digital photography assignments. Each student will create a number of works of art using a variety of different photographic methods. Students will create a portfolio of their digital and film photography projects.

Ceramics
In Ceramics, each student in will create a number of works of art using a variety of different hand building techniques.  Students will create a portfolio and a number of works of art using a variety of different medias.
