Back to School: AP courses at TTUSD rival schools in big cities
TTUSD is committed to ensuring that all students are college and career ready by graduation. One way this is achieved is by offering a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) classes, designed to prepare scholars for the rigor of college-level work, and set them up for post-graduate success.
The district’s AP courses offer students the opportunity to access college-level curriculum while still in high school.
Despite their small school sizes, students at both of the district’s comprehensive high schools, North Tahoe High and Truckee High, have access to up to 15 AP courses; this number rivals high schools in large cities.
