Did you know that our Green Team, TTUSD facilities, faculty, students and kitchen staff are working hard to decrease our school’s waste stream? Did you know we already banned the use of Styrofoam in our school lunches? We are making progress!!!

Now, the question is... “What can those who are packing lunches for school do to help “Green” our school waste stream?” Everything a student packs in his/her lunch can contribute to decreasing our waste stream! On Earth Day, and in classrooms, many kids have been learning how to Do One Thing to reduce their impact. We listed ideas here that help demonstrate how being GREEN can save GREEN (an average of $245 per person each year) at home as well!
