NTHS Community Profile

North Tahoe High School is one of two comprehensive high schools within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District.  The NTHS  campus is shared with North Tahoe Middle School and has been completely updated with a new main school building along with a modernized and expanded auditorium, dining commons, library and gym.  The student body is made up of students from several small towns spanning the North Shore of Lake Tahoe; these include Kings Beach, Squaw Valley, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat, Tahoe City, Homewood and Tahoma.

The graduation goals are addressed in each content area and at every course level as demonstrated by graduation goals matrices.  Furthermore, every senior is required to complete a senior project in which they demonstrate achievement of the graduation goals.
